Privacy Notice

Privacy at WishNeww

Effective date: August 3, 2026. Last updated: August 3, 2026.

Communities are built on trust.

At WishNeww, we believe your personal information deserves the same respect as your relationships. We collect only the information needed to help community owners stay connected with the people who choose to join them.

This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

WishNeww is operated by WishNeww Ventures.

People join communities. Trust keeps them there.

This page is written for product transparency and must be reviewed by qualified Indian legal counsel before production publication.

What WishNeww does

WishNeww helps community owners share updates, collections, events and conversations with people who choose to join their community.

We provide the technology.

Community owners decide what they share.

Members decide whether to join.

Our Promise

We will never intentionally design WishNeww to overwhelm members with spam, endless notifications or engagement tricks.

We believe communities grow because people choose to come back, not because they are manipulated into returning.

What WishNeww doesn't do

WishNeww is not:

  • a marketplace
  • a payment gateway
  • an ordering platform
  • a billing system
  • a donation processor
  • an advertising network

Joining a community or expressing interest does not create a purchase, reservation or booking.

Community ownership

Every community remains under the control of its owner.

WishNeww does not decide what a boutique sells, what a temple announces or what an aquarium shares.

The community owner is responsible for the information they publish.

WishNeww provides the platform, owner workspace, community pages, member-session handling, media storage wiring and support contact route. Community owners choose who they add as members, how they respond to enquiries and what information they upload.

WishNeww may be responsible for platform account/support information and may act as a service provider for owner-managed community information. Community owners remain responsible for the community information, content and member relationships they choose to manage through the platform.

AI-assisted drafts

AI may help owners prepare drafts.

AI never publishes automatically.

Every update is reviewed and approved by the community owner before it is shared.

Just Wish and internal WHI features may prepare drafts, summaries, suggestions or rewrites where available. Drafts may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Information handled by the platform

Depending on how a person uses WishNeww, the platform may handle:

  • Owner account email, authentication session information and workspace access roles.
  • Member name, mobile number, country code, preferred language, interests and communication preferences.
  • Consent records, consent source, method, wording version, capture date and withdrawal history.
  • Community membership status, member-session tokens stored as hashed server records and browser cookies.
  • Questions, enquiries, expressions of interest, join-form context and contact-form communications.
  • Owner-created Picks, Shares, updates, events, products, services, descriptions and uploaded media.
  • Image filenames, storage paths, public media URLs, alt text and upload metadata.
  • Member activity entries such as joins, preference changes, pauses, resumptions, leaving and rejoining.
  • Technical information that may be generated by hosting, browser requests, cookies and application logs.

How information is used

WishNeww uses information to run community pages, let visitors join a community, remember member access, show owner-published content, support owner review workflows, help owners manage members and respond to enquiries, maintain consent history and keep community data separated by community.

Owner-created content may be published publicly when an owner chooses to publish it. Member phone numbers and contact details are not intended to be publicly listed. Expressions of interest are community signals; they are not orders, reservations, purchases, donations or payment instructions.

Consent and member choices

The public join flow requires a name, mobile number and an affirmative consent checkbox before membership is created. Consent is recorded with provenance such as source, method and capture time.

Member preference screens and owner tools include support for pausing communications, resuming communications, leaving a community and withdrawing update consent where implemented. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was already completed lawfully before the withdrawal.

Sharing

Community owners and authorised stewards can see member and community information for their community. Platform administrators may access community workspaces through the platform-admin path where authorised.

WishNeww uses infrastructure and service providers evidenced in the repository, including Supabase for database, authentication and storage, and deployment/hosting infrastructure configured for the application.

WishNeww does not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed where needed to operate the service, respond to support or legal requests, protect safety or comply with applicable law.

Cookies, sessions and analytics

WishNeww uses necessary cookies for language preference, owner authentication and member sessions. Member session cookies are HTTP-only, same-site cookies, with server-side session records that include expiry.

The repository does not evidence a public analytics or advertising tracking system for these pages. If optional analytics is added later, this notice should be updated before use.

Security

The codebase includes community-scoped access checks, Supabase Auth for owner access, row-level-security migrations, service-role-only areas for sensitive session records and hashed member-session tokens. These are safeguards, not a promise that any system is perfectly secure.

Retention and deletion

WishNeww keeps information for as long as it is needed for the community relationship, platform operation, support, legal obligations, dispute handling, security and audit history.

Some records may be retained after a membership changes or consent is withdrawn where retention is still needed for lawful purposes such as security, audit history, dispute handling or compliance.

Rights and requests

People may contact WishNeww to ask about access, correction, erasure where applicable, consent withdrawal or a privacy grievance. Some requests may need to be handled with the relevant community owner because community owners choose and manage their community information.

Privacy and grievance requests can be sent to wish@wishneww.com.

Children

WishNeww is not designed for children to independently create or manage community accounts. Where a minor's data is involved, a parent or lawful guardian should act for the minor and the relevant community owner should handle the information carefully.

Incidents and cross-border processing

If WishNeww becomes aware of a personal data breach affecting people, it should take reasonable steps to assess, contain and communicate about the incident in plain language as required by applicable law.

WishNeww may use infrastructure and service providers needed to operate the platform. Cross-border processing, if any, will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Changes and contact

WishNeww may update this notice as the platform, law or operating model changes.
